Assignment 5_KaitlynC

In my first gallery,  the story is about traveling, these photos were taken in France from a trip I went on in high school. Over Spring Break, I am going on a road trip to Halifax with my friend. So my second idea for a story is to capture some photos while I’m exploring there (with some freedom.) I have done some traveling in the past, but I have never been out of the country without some sort of adult supervision, so this will be a new experience for me.

In my second gallery, I attempt to tell a story about nature. It is very easy to go about your everyday life without taking a moment to appreciate what is around you. The other day I was walking to my car from class the other day and the sky looked really nice and for some reason really stood out to me, so I decided to stop and capture these photos.

  • A travel story needs a character and a plot. In a conventional narrative, the protagonist meets an obstacle or challenge, then a crisis, which changes him/her. Who or what changes in the travel story? Can you add other images that could indicate this? Can the changing scenes suggest a character change?

In the sky story, you may have more straightforward options. What/whose story is the changing sky telling? What challenge is causing this change? Why is the passing of time significant? Can you develop the plot more fully by having something/someone at stake?

    Satisfactory
