I like how you used depth of field in many of these photos to emphasise what you are focusing on. The photo of the case with all the the sweets in it was my favorite because you focused on one sweet which made me feel like i was looking in the case through the eyes of the photographer.

I agree with Frank. The photo of the sweets made me stop and think about 1) How you took it because it looks like you’re inside the case but then I realized it was the side of the display 2) It makes me want to have some sweets so it communicates the desirability of the sweets. Plus, I like how you can’t really see outside the case because the display mirrors the inside so everything about the photo is sweet.

It’s cool with the focus on the closeups of the star and dreamcatcher as they dignify what they represent, and you show them in a way that exemplifies the influence they have.

You’ve done a really great job at giving the viewer a real sense of what the area is like with the photos. I feel like I can really picture myself there, and smell the delicious looking treats

I really like the photo of the star and the dreamcatcher, it seemed like you used the same technique to take both of them. It’s cool how those are the main focus of the photo, but there is also a lot to look at through/behind them.

Hey Alyssa, I really enjoy the photo of the star and dream catcher I can really tell you put some effort into finding which angle would be best for this area of photography, I am also really fascinated by how clear you got that picture of the pastries through the glass!!
