I think it’s interesting that you chose gritty backdrops with colorful subjects. It really makes the subject pop and makes for an interesting narrative. I wonder what these pictures might look like if you increased the color saturation, just to make your subjects stand out even more.

Content–subtle color variations, then a pop of color; close up texture of common things like ice, snow, shadows, but beautifully rendered and poetic
Composition–I like that most of your subject are uncentered; making images more dynamic; attention to edges, and the way the eye moves across photo
Technique–focus on details mostly close up, and subtle juxtaposition of ice and frail dry weeds, or chains and yellow pipe over snow.
Aesthetics–simplicity, contrast, arresting compositions; a good beginning
