My first visit to Brockton Massachusetts, I came across this artwork. My friend who lives there informed me that the art work has a meaning. Obviously the city of champions, is dedicated to the New England Patriots, and their legacy of an organization that’s all about winning. The mural with the boxer, my friend told me that it was dedicated to Rocky Marciano, who was born in Brockton, and has a career record of 49 wins 0 losses. The mural with the Brockton Shoe Industry, I was told that factories in Brockton made shoes for soldiers during the World War. While visiting my friend I learned a lot about his town of Brockton Massachusetts.
