The above image was taken to capture the design and detail of the blue trim around the window. Once I began playing around in Lightroom I realized that by raising the exposure and tweaking the details I could show the room inside. I prefer the window dark, but as a study in post production I think this is a nice example of how much you can change an image with a few simple tools.
This is an image I took a couple years ago in the Abaco islands, the wreck of the Lucky Lady. I noticed that the original image had a well balanced histogram. In the edited version I attempted to balance it further.
